Workshop Supervisor

The Role:

Our project team is expanding! This role for a Workshop Supervisor to be based onsite in the Pilbara region, Western Australia. This role will be reporting to the site Project Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, leading a team of tradespeople to deliver planned and breakdown maintenance across a diverse fleet of earthmoving machinery to support the projects.

  • 2:1 Roster – All dayshift!
  • Based in the Pilbara

 

In addition to working with a great team, the successful applicant will receive ongoing project exposure, allowing you to further develop your technical and leadership skills. There will be an opportunity for a strong performer to progress their career and move into senior roles or onto various pipeline projects.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is a must (5 years +)
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within mining or heavy earthmoving environments
  • Trade qualified Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic (or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi machinery
  • Effective communication & people skills
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote FIFO environment
  • Strong computer and systems skills and knowledge
  • Previous project coordination/supervision experience
