Workshop Supervisor
We are looking for an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead the day to day running of our site workshop in the Pilbara.
This role is offered on a 2:1 FIFO rotation, with all work carried out on a day shift roster.
Reporting to the Site Project Manager, you will coordinate workshop priorities, lead a team of tradespeople, and oversee planned and breakdown maintenance across a fleet of heavy earthmoving machinery.
This role will suit someone who has come through the tools, understands mining and heavy earthmoving environments, and can keep people, priorities and machinery moving safely and efficiently.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar workshop or maintenance supervision role
- Previous supervisory experience within mining or heavy earthmoving environments
- Trade qualification as a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic, or equivalent
- Strong working knowledge of Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi machinery
- Effective communication and people management skills
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage trades teams on site
- Confidence working in a remote FIFO environment
- Strong computer and systems skills
- Previous project coordination or supervision experience
