Supervisor

This role for a Supervisor is to be based onsite in our Pilbara Region. You will be reporting to the Project Manager/Superintendent and will work closely with site personnel onsite ensuring prompt project delivery and quality works. The Site Supervisor is responsible for the effective supervision and coordination of daily site operations, site safety and resources including labour, materials, equipment and subcontractors whilst ensuring SRG Global and Client policies and procedures are followed during the delivery of the project.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

• Cert IV in Training & Assessment
• Schedule 26
• Relevant Trade Certificate (desirable)
• Formal qualification in Project Management, OHS or similar field (desirable)
• HR license (desirable)

Key Responsibilities:
•    Assist Construction/Project Manager and / or Superintendent with the forecast and allocation of resources including labour, material and equipment.
•    Ensure works are conducted in a safe and efficient manner whilst maintaining SRG Global's high quality standards.
•    Interprets are issued for construction drawings, documentation and change.
•    Instruct and manage Leading Hands/Site Team and provide progress reports to Construction/Project Manager and / or Superintendent.
•    Monitor site safety to identify and mitigate risks/hazards and promote SRG's Zero Harm culture.
•    Report all risks, actual or potential, according to Client and SRG policies and procedures.
•    Actively assist with regular toolbox meetings.
•    Assist with the preparation of project documentation and reporting as per Client and SRG Global procedures

Experience:
•    Minimum 10  Years Experience in similar role in civil engineering construction.
•    Road infrastructure, bulk earthworks and civil construction projects in a mining environment are essential. 
•    Experience in the construction of reinforced earth & mechanically stabilized earth retaining walls is an advantage.
