The Role

 

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our Facades team and play a key role in delivering façade works on the prestigious City Tattersalls Redevelopment project in Sydney CBD.

 

Working alongside a highly experienced project team, you will take ownership of day-to-day façade installation activities on a complex, high-profile development. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, managing site operations, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring work is delivered in line with project requirements.

 

This role will suit a hands-on leader who enjoys being on site, building strong working relationships and driving successful project outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily façade construction activities.

• Manage subcontractors, site resources, materials and equipment.

• Monitor project progress and assist in achieving programme milestones.

• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company and client requirements.

• Lead site safety initiatives and maintain compliance with company and client HSEQ requirements.

• Monitor and maintain quality standards to ensure work is delivered in accordance with project specifications.

• Interpret construction drawings and project documentation.

• Coordinate site logistics and material deliveries. 

• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and project stakeholders.

• Assist with project reporting and site documentation.

• Promote and maintain SRG Global's Zero Harm culture.

 

The successful applicant will ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, Leading Hand or similar site-based leadership role within commercial construction.

• Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors, site teams and construction activities to deliver work efficiently and to programme.

• Experience within facades, glazing, cladding, carpentry or related construction disciplines (highly regarded).

• Strong practical site experience with a hands-on understanding of installation methodologies and day-to-day construction operations.

• Strong understanding of safety, quality and project requirements.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documentation.

• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

• White Card (essential).

• Experience working on commercial, residential, high-rise or complex construction projects (highly regarded).
