The Role

We are currently seeking motivated Site Engineers to join our growing Utilities Division, supporting the delivery of key water infrastructure projects across South Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a high-performing team, with exposure to diverse projects and clear pathways for career progression as the business continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing construction activities ensuring compliance with design and SA Water standards and specifications.
- Procurement and co-ordination of materials, plant and equipment including raising purchase requisitions and ensuring materials delivered to site are correct, in good condition and in a timely manner so as to not cause delays to the construction program.
- Performing site inspections and observations with respect to health, safety and environmental KPIs.
- Assisting project engineers with development of site documentation including ITPs, SWMSs, JSEAs and Construction Execution Procedures.
- Undertaking quality control inspections and ITP Witness and Hold Point inspections.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- Tertiary qualification in civil or mechanical engineering
- 1-2yrs experience in a similar role
- Sound working knowledge of HSEQ requirements and implementation of same
- Strong and clear communication skills with proven ability to engage others
- Willingness / ability to work in remote locations as may be required
