The Role
SRG Global are currently seeking Trade qualified First Class Sheet Metal Workers and experienced Laggers/Insulators to join our team in Alcoa for an upcoming Shutdown in Wagerup. Long-term work is available for the right candidates. If you’re ready to be part of a high-performing crew — this is the role for you!
Immediate positions:
Aloca (Wagerup) - Pre-Shut
- Duration: 17/08/2026 – 11/09/2026
- Hours: Pre-Shut (10 Hour Days)
- Start: 17/08/2026
- Base + Penalties + Site Allowance + Meal Allowance + Travel Allowance
Aloca (Wagerup) - Shutdown
- Duration: 13/09/2026 – 22/09/2026
- Hours: Shutdown (12 Hour Days)
- Start: 13/09/2026
- Base + Penalties + Site Allowance + Meal Allowance + Travel Allowance
The successful applicant will have:
- Minimum 3 – 5 years relevant trade experience
- Relevant Trade Qualification – Light Fabrication (for first class sheet metal workers)
- Current Working at Heights (within 2 years)
- Current Confined Spaces (within 2 years)
- High Risk Work Licence: LF and EWP (Desirable)
- White Card
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Asbestos Handling License (highly regarded)
- Ability to pass site medical testing requirements
