Senior Reliability Engineer 1

The Role:
SRG Global Asset Care is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to lead asset strategy, grow key client relationships, and drive reliability excellence across energy, mining, and heavy industry clients throughout APAC.
This is a high-impact consulting role combining technical depth, client engagement, and team leadership. You’ll work with major operators to develop data-driven reliability solutions while mentoring a small team of engineers and condition monitoring specialists.
Client & Business Growth
- Strengthen and grow key client relationships across energy & mining
- Secure new work scopes and contribute to business growth targets
- Drive a proactive, commercially focused reliability function
Asset Strategy & Reliability
- Lead RCM workshops, FMECA studies & Root Cause Analysis
- Develop asset lifecycle & maintenance strategies aligned to ISO 55000
- Implement condition-based and predictive maintenance programs
- Analyse MTBF, MTTR, availability and reliability performance trends
- Provide specialist support across rotating equipment (pumps, turbines, compressors, motors, gearboxes)
Data & Systems
- Develop dashboards, KPIs and technical reporting for senior stakeholders
- Support implementation and growth of SRG’s reliability platform (HAIStack)
Leadership
- Mentor and develop junior engineers in line with SRG’s strong team culture and company values
- Promote strong engineering governance.
About You:
- Mechanical Engineering degree (CPEng or eligible preferred)
- 10+ years’ experience in mining, oil & gas, or power generation
- Strong background in RCM, FMECA, RCA & defect elimination
- Experience with digital reliability platforms (GE APM, AspenTech, Cenosco etc.)
- Strong understanding of ISO 55000 asset management
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Experience leading small technical teams
- Certifications such as ARP (L preferred) and VCAT-2 vibration analysis are highly regarded.
