Senior Project Engineer

The Role

 

Join a landmark infrastructure project and play a key role in the successful delivery of the San Remo Bridge.

 

As a Project Engineer, you'll take ownership of critical project packages from planning and procurement through to construction, commissioning, and handover. Working alongside an experienced project team, you'll be responsible for driving programme outcomes, coordinating subcontractors, managing technical and commercial aspects of delivery, and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare project documentation including methodologies, QA/QC, safety, environmental and technical deliverables.
  • Provide technical support to project teams, ensuring compliance with specifications, drawings and project requirements.
  • Monitor construction activities, progress and performance through site inspections, audits and KPI reporting.
  • Manage RFIs, TQs and technical queries, identifying practical and efficient construction solutions.
  • Assist the Project Manager with project planning, delivery, procurement, cost control and resource coordination.
  • Coordinate surveying activities, quantity assessments and project controls to support successful project execution.
  • Maintain project records, registers and QA/QC testing programs to ensure compliance and traceability.
  • Support tender preparation through quantity take-offs, documentation and constructability reviews.

 

The successful applicant will ideally have:

  • Degree in Engineering
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience in civil/infrastructure projects
  • Confident in using a range of project softwares
  • Demonstrated experience in effective HSEQ management
