Scaffolder Supervisor

 

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Scaffold Supervisor to support ongoing maintenance, and shutdown works at the Albemarle Mine Site.

This role is responsible for leading scaffold crews, ensuring compliance with site and statutory requirements, and managing work fronts through digital systems (SAP & Airtable).

The successful candidate will be hands-on, organised, and capable of working within a fast-paced shutdown environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handover certificates
  • Inspection records
  • Supervise scaffold erection, modification, and dismantling activities in accordance with AS/NZS standards and site procedures
  • Lead and coordinate scaffold teams, including Leading Hands and Scaffolders
  • Ensure all scaffolds are built safely, inspected, tagged, and compliant
  • Manage work orders and execution through SAP
  • Track scope, progress, and reporting via Airtable or similar systems
  • Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks, and safety audits
  • Liaise with client representatives, planners, and other trades
  • Ensure accurate documentation of:
  • Scaffold registers
  • Drive productivity while maintaining strict safety standards
  • Identify and escalate risks, delays, and resource constraints

 

The successful applicant will ideally have:

  • Section 26 Statutory Supervisor Qualification (WA)
  • High Risk Work License - Advanced Scaffolding (SI / SA)
  • Driver's License
  • Confined Space (Within 2 years)
  • Working at Heights (Within 2 years)
  • White Card
  • Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment.
  • Strong computer and systems skills
  • Proven experience as a Scaffold Supervisor on mine or heavy industrial sites
  • Strong knowledge of scaffold compliance, standards, and design limitations
  • SAP (work orders, planning, execution tracking)
  • Airtable or similar digital planning/management systems
