Rope Access Technician – Mining Geotechnical
SRG Global Mining Services is seeking experienced Rope Access Technicians to join our Mining – Geotechnical team across Western Australia.
With multiple ongoing projects and a growing pipeline of work, we are seeking casual Rope Access Technicians to support our growing operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced rope access personnel looking for ongoing project work across a range of mining and geotechnical projects.

The Role
As a Rope Access Technician, you will carry out rope access and geotechnical ground support activities across a range of mining projects.
You will work as part of a skilled team undertaking high-angle ground support works, with exposure to a variety of specialised geotechnical activities and project environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct rope access works safely and efficiently in accordance with project requirements
- Complete rope access equipment inspections and pre-use checks
- Install ground support anchors, mesh and associated ground support systems
- Mix and place grout to specification
- Undertake testing as required
- Operate pneumatic drills and other site equipment
- Operate telehandlers, light vehicles and service trucks as required
- Maintain equipment and work areas to a high standard
- Liaise with the Site Manager and Supervisors regarding work requirements, hazards and issues
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality and productivity
About You
The successful applicants will have:
- IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 certification
- C Class Manual Driver’s Licence
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Work Safely at Heights certification
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A positive attitude towards safety, training and the environment
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
Desirable:
- Elevated Work Platform certification
- Previous geotechnical or mining experience
