Rope Access Boilermaker

The Role

SRG Global requires Rope Access Boilermakers (all IRATA levels) for full time FIFO opportunities from Perth. We are looking for individuals who thrive on working in team environments and developing collectively.

We have ongoing maintenance and shutdown works servicing tier 1 clients for mine, rail, and port locations throughout the Pilbara and Port Hedland region.

The successful applicant will have: 

• Current IRATA qualification
• Valid Driving License
• Boilermaker Trade qualification
• Working at Heights (within 2 years)
• Confined Space (within 2 years)
• Construction Induction Card (White or Blue card)
• Ability to pass site medical testing requirements

Key Responsibilities include:

• Conduct rope access works, ensuring projects run smoothly and according to scope.
• Rope access equipment fitting and pre-use checks.
• Liaising with the Site Manager/Supervisor regarding any issues
• Maintaining all equipment.
• Gain access to areas to perform Boilermaking duties, undertaking welding and fabrication as required.
• Welding as required and any other miscellaneous welding activities.
• Oxy-Acetylene cutting and gouging.
