The Role

SRG Global is seeking an experienced Resource Planner to join our Asset Maintenance team, based from our new Wattleup office.

 

This role will play an important part in the transition of employees from Recruitment through to Mobilisation, ensuring our people are ready, compliant and available to meet operational requirements across our Southwest operations.

 

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Mobilisation Coordinator looking to take the next step into a broader resource planning position.

 

You will work closely with Recruitment, Mobilisation, Operations and site teams to ensure the right people are available, compliant and ready to commence work when required.

 

 

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the transition of candidates from Recruitment through to Mobilisation and deployment
  • Work closely with operations teams to understand upcoming labour requirements and resource needs
  • Plan and coordinate workforce movements in line with operational requirements
  • Monitor candidate and employee readiness, including medical, inductions, training, tickets and other compliance requirements
  • Maintain accurate workforce and mobilisation records and provide regular updates to stakeholders
  • Identify potential mobilisation delays or resourcing gaps and proactively work with the relevant teams to resolve them
  • Maintain workforce forecasts and assist with forward resource planning
  • Ensure employees are appropriately allocated based on skills, competencies, availability and project requirements
  • Support reporting and workforce data to provide visibility of upcoming resource requirements
  • Build strong working relationships across Recruitment, HR, Mobilisation and Operations

 

The successful applicant will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in mobilisation, workforce coordination, resource planning or recruitment coordination
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end mobilisation process
  • Experience working within mining, resources, construction, maintenance or a similar operational environment
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly around compliance and employee readiness
  • Confidence communicating with employees, candidates, recruitment teams and operational stakeholders
  • Ability to identify issues early and proactively find solutions
  • Strong computer and administration skills, with experience working with workforce management or mobilisation systems highly regarded
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment where operational requirements can change quickly
