Quantity Surveyor

About the Role

SRG Global is looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing Utilities team in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane.

This is a great opportunity for a recent Quantity Surveying graduate or someone early in their QS career who is looking to build their experience in a supportive project environment.

Working closely with the project team, you’ll gain practical exposure to the commercial and financial aspects of projects while developing your skills across project claims, reporting, invoicing and KPI reporting.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assisting with the preparation and management of project claims.
• Supporting project reporting and maintaining accurate project information.
• Assisting with project invoicing and financial administration.
• Supporting the calculation and formulation of project KPIs.
• Working with project teams to gather and review relevant project information.
• Assisting with day-to-day commercial and quantity surveying activities.
• Building your understanding of project costs, commercial processes and reporting.
• Working collaboratively with project and operational teams to support project outcomes.

About You

We're looking for someone who is motivated to establish and develop their career in Quantity Surveying.

You will ideally have:

• A Quantity Surveying degree or relevant tertiary qualification.
• Graduate-level or junior experience within Quantity Surveying.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• The ability to work collaboratively with project teams.
• A proactive approach and genuine interest in developing your commercial skills.
