The Role
SRG Global is seeking an experienced NDT Technician to join our Asset Care team in Canning Vale. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity supporting a diverse portfolio of inspection and asset integrity projects across the mining, industrial, energy, and infrastructure sectors throughout Western Australia.
Working closely with clients and internal stakeholders, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality inspection services, providing technical expertise, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced NDT inspections on fixed plant assets including pressure equipment, tanks, pipelines, structural steel, and process infrastructure
- Conduct and interpret Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) inspections
- Review inspection findings, assess asset condition, and support integrity and maintenance decision-making
- Prepare accurate technical reports and inspection documentation
- Assist with planning inspection programs and coordinating NDT activities
- Work collaboratively with clients, engineers, and site-based teams to deliver quality outcomes
About You
- ISO 9712 PAUT certification (essential)
- ISO 9712 UT Level 2 certification (essential)
- Proven experience in a similar NDT role within mining, industrial, energy, or heavy industry environments
- Strong understanding of inspection standards, asset integrity principles, and reporting requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- A proactive, safety-focused approach with a commitment to quality outcomes
Highly Regarded
- Additional NDT certifications including MT, PT, ET, or RT
- IRATA Rope Access certification
- Experience mentoring junior technicians or providing technical leadership
