Maintenance Coordinator

The Role

Due to ongoing growth, our Mining Services maintenance team has an opening for a new support role. Reporting to the National Maintenance Manager, your primary focus will be coordinating our preventive maintenance systems, ensuring our assets are maintained to a high standard, compliant, available, and ready to go when our national Drill & Blast and Geotechnical project teams need them. 

 

  • This role is based at our Welshpool facility and involves working Monday to Friday, with occasional project visits.
  • Play a key part in supporting maintenance systems, procurement, and project coordination while helping to build and strengthen processes across the business
  • Collaborate with an established, dynamic team in a rapidly growing company.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all SRG Global standards, policies and procedures
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, evaluating and implementing improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with other functions and stakeholders in the performance of duties.
  • Tracking compliance, inspections & certifications, and service intervals.
  • Coordinating planned and unplanned maintenance activities across our mining assets. 
  • Ensure accurate CMMS data entry, track maintenance KPIs, and support cost reporting through timely updates and analysis.
  • Support procurement processes, including purchase orders, inventory management, and supplier engagement.
  • Supporting project-based operations, sometimes outside standard hours.
  • Proactively identifying risks, gaps, and upcoming requirements before they become issues.
  • Assist with project mobilisations, system setup, and operational readiness.

 

About You

  • 5+ years of experience providing maintenance systems support in the mining sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to communicate and liaise effectively across a variety of stakeholders
  • Computer Literacy including CMMS, Microsoft Suite and D365 (desirable)
  • A Current Western Australian 'C' Class Driver's Licence (Manual)
  • Mechanical trade certificate and HR Class truck license desirable.
  • Must pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol assessment.
