Light Vehicle Mechanic

The Role:

SRG Global Infrastructure is currently looking for Light Vehicle Mechanic for a Perth based role at their Naval Base workshop facility. This is a full-time permanent role on a 5:2 roster.

We are seeking someone who will provide a high level of experience and support to current and future clients as well as our management team and other team members.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Service and maintain a fleet of Toyota Hilux’s & perform unscheduled repairs when required
• Maintenance of minor and major repairs of all light vehicles + assist with heavy vehicle repairs
• Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all vehicles in the fleet to ensure maximum output
• Working closely with the Workshop Supervisor to ensure SRG Global standards and expectations are met

The successful applicant will have:

• Qualification in a light vehicle mechanical trade.
• Hold a current Forklift licence.
• Hold a current Drivers licence.
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of Toyota vehicles – mechanical and electrical
• Self-Motivated with attention to detail when carrying out allocated tasks.

• Ability to pass pre-employment medical & site medical testing requirements.
• Have a strong understanding of safety and PPE requirements in an industrial environment.
