Integrity Engineer

SRG Global Asset Care is seeking an experienced Asset Integrity & Inspection Engineer to support one of our key oil & gas clients. This position is initially a fixed-term contract, with potential to go permanent.
This is an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in asset integrity, inspection, and engineering assessment within a high-performing team. Working closely with engineering, inspection, and NDT teams, you will provide both field and office-based support, contributing to the safety, reliability, and compliance of critical pressure equipment and tank assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update inspection data management systems, including asset health registers/dashboards.
- Developing pressure equipment inspection scopes based on RBI assessments and AS 3788 requirements.
- Developing repair plans and method statements.
- Review and optimize turnaround scopes of work.
- Upload inspection reports and inspection data into CMMS and client-based IDMS.
- Reviewing inspection data to identify integrity threats and develop associated risk mitigation plans.
- Review and update integrity management plans (include review and development of corrosion loop diagrams, inspection requirements and IOW’s).
- Conduct RCA’s for equipment leaks and/or damage.
- Identify and assess damage mechanisms based on process, inspection and operational data.
- Execute RBI assessments and execute associated equipment planning.
- Provide recommendations on appropriate NDE selection based on integrity threat type/level.
- Develop, implement and maintain integrity threat barriers.
- Develop damage mechanisms specific integrity management programs/campaigns.
- Conduct or facilitate the execution of fitness for service assessments.
- Work in collaboration with other disciplines to ensure inspection and integrity scopes are timeously planned and executed.
- Conduct site-based equipment inspection as required.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- Degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering; CP.Eng Registration is desirable
- Inspection Qualifications, AICIP/API are desirable.
- Operator or client secondment experience is desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of NDE techniques
- Strong knowledge of pressure equipment codes, standards and regulations.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in oil & gas.
- Experience in Risk Based Inspection assessment and inspection planning.
