SRG Global Mining Services is seeking expressions of interest from enthusiastic and committed HSE Advisors to join our team on an even‑time FIFO roster. This position will provide ongoing HSE support across our mine sites and offers a valuable opportunity to gain exposure to different areas of our operations, supporting career progression and development toward future site supervisory roles.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to expand their site exposure across multiple operations while playing a key role in supporting our teams and strengthening safety performance.
Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships through coaching, collaboration and regular field engagement
- Deliver field‑based HSE training and support operational leaders with event management
- Assist in developing, implementing and improving HSE systems, documentation and initiatives
- Facilitate and review risk assessments
- Capture, track and report on HSE performance metrics
- Provide specialist advice aligned with relevant legislation and SRG Global policies
- Support continual improvement of the HSE Management System
- Assist site leadership with Drill & Blast operations where appropriate
- This role includes occasional requirements to work from the Subiaco head office.
About You
- Cert IV or Diploma in WHS (desirable)
- Incident/root cause investigation training (e.g., ICAM) (desirable)
- Exposure to mining operations, particularly Drill & Blast (desirable)
- Experience with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) (desirable)
- Strong communication, influencing and organisational skills
- Proficiency with MS Suite and reporting systems
- A current driver’s licence is mandatory.
While the above qualifications and experience are desirable, comprehensive training and support may be provided for the right candidate to develop capability across these key areas within the HSE function.
