Graduate Estimator

The Role

We are seeking a motivated Graduate Estimator to join our Utilities division in our Fortitude Valley office in Queensland. In this role, you'll support the preparation of competitive tenders by reviewing project documentation, preparing quantity take-offs, obtaining supplier pricing and assisting with cost estimates for infrastructure projects.

Working alongside experienced estimators and project teams, you'll gain hands-on exposure to major infrastructure tenders, learning how projects are costed, planned and won. With structured mentoring, ongoing training and genuine career progression, this is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career with an industry leader.

Key Responsibilities:

· Review drawings, specifications and tender documents.

· Prepare quantity take-offs and measure project quantities.

· Assist with developing accurate project cost estimates.

· Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.

· Research labour, material and equipment pricing.

· Support tender submissions and bid documentation.

· Assist with risk reviews and cost-saving opportunities.

· Work closely with estimators, engineers and project teams.

· Attend site visits to improve project understanding.

· Maintain accurate estimating records and project files.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

· Degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical) or Quantity Surveying

· Exposure to engineering within the water sector is highly regarded

· Strong communication and people skills

· Strong computer and systems skills and knowledge
