Credit Control Officer

The Role

Are you an experienced Credit Control, Collections or Accounts Receivable professional looking for your next opportunity?

SRG Global is seeking a Credit Control Officer to join our team at our Subiaco Head Office. This is a varied role where you’ll play an important part in managing customer accounts, following up outstanding payments and supporting accurate and efficient financial processes.

We’re looking for someone with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and a positive, proactive attitude. You’ll enjoy building relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, solving problems and managing your workload effectively.

Key Responsibilities

· Contacting customers and debtors by phone and email regarding outstanding accounts.

· Conducting credit checks and setting up new customer accounts.

· Generating invoices and claims in the system.

· Monitoring the Accounts Receivable inbox and responding to customer enquiries.

· Reconciling customer accounts and processing receipts accurately and efficiently.

· Liaising with operational staff regarding accounts on hold.

· Preparing end-of-month customer statements.

· Assisting with month-end procedures, reporting and other ad-hoc requirements.

· Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

· Experience in credit control, collections or accounts receivable.

· Current membership with the Australian Institute of Credit Management (desirable).

· Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and a high level of data accuracy.

· The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.

· Confidence using computer systems and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

· A positive attitude and commitment to contributing to a high-performance team culture.
