The Role
SRG Global is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to join our Utilities team supporting the McConnell Dowell SRG Global Utilities Joint Venture (MCD-SRG JV) in Adelaide.
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of South Australia's largest water infrastructure programs, supporting the commercial delivery of multiple civil construction projects while developing your career with a leading engineering and infrastructure business.
Working closely with an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator and the wider project team, you will play an important role in the administration of contracts, procurement activities and commercial reporting.
This is primarily an office-based role with regular visits to project sites, providing exposure to both the commercial and operational aspects of project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the administration of head contracts, subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Assist with the preparation of subcontract agreements and contractual correspondence.
- Track variations, claims and extensions of time under the guidance of senior team members.
- Preparation of monthly client claims and other reporting as required.
- Assist with procurement activities, including RFQs, subcontractor onboarding and supplier engagement.
- Maintain contract registers and ensure project documentation remains accurate and up to date.
- Processing of monthly subcontractor claims with guidance from project teams.
- Assist with processing of supplier invoices as required
- Support invoice matching, cost coding and monthly accrual processes.
- Liaise with subcontractors and internal stakeholders to resolve commercial queries.
- Work closely with project engineers, the commercial team and site personnel to support project delivery.
The Successful Applicant Will Ideally Have
- 2–3 years' experience in a Contracts Administrator or similar commercial support role.
- Industry experience within civil construction, utilities or infrastructure, with exposure to water projects highly desirable.
- Exposure to subcontract administration, procurement and commercial project support.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience using Workbench or similar software would be highly regarded.
- Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop within a commercial team.
