The Role

SRG Global is looking for a motivated Contract Administrator to join our Wangara-based Commercial and Industrial team.


Reporting to the Manager Commercial and Industrial, you will provide end-to-end contract administration and commercial support across our Commercial and Industrial operations. You will administer subcontractor and head contracts across the full lifecycle, prepare and assess claims and variations, support cost control and end-of-month reporting, and help maximise SRG Global’s contract entitlements while ensuring compliance with our commercial processes.

 

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer subcontractor packages across the full contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance with head contract and purchase order obligations
  • Administer head contracts to preserve SRG Global’s commercial rights and maximise revenue and entitlements
  • Prepare and assess progress claims, variations and, where applicable, extensions of time (EOT) and delay and disruption claims
  • Support end-of-month accruals, revenue recognition and the commercial reporting pack, and maintain cost-tracking reports for forecasting and budgeting
  • Process and vary purchase orders for client works, and respond to client and subcontractor queries within agreed timeframes
  • Drive adoption of SRG Global systems for contract administration, cost control and commercial reporting, and recommend process improvements
  • Generate compliance and exception-based reports and maintain accurate project dashboards
  • Prepare contract summaries and risk profiles, contribute to commercial and project review meetings, and maintain audit-ready records throughout

 

The successful applicant will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a similar contract administration role
  • Experience within heavy industry
  • A sound understanding of contract administration requirements
  • Strong negotiation skills and financial acumen
  • Strong computer software skills including MS Office and Outlook
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail and data processing accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise a diverse range of tasks
  • Ability to maintain confidential information to the highest standards
  • Commitment to a high-performance culture
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing
