Coatings QA Technician
We are seeking an experienced Coatings Technician to join our Asset Services team, working on the Auckland Harbour Bridge.
This is a hands-on, technically focused role supporting Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Supervisors to deliver high-quality industrial coatings and maintenance works on one of NZ’s most critical infrastructure assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers and Engineers in delivering coatings renewal projects
- Monitor and support compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, documentation, and cost tracking
- Coordinate labour, plant, equipment, and materials
- Communicate with suppliers, contractors, clients, and internal teams
- Support delivery across multiple sites, including travel as required
About You
- AMPP Coatings Inspector Level 2 (CIP2) qualification or equivalent
- Experience in industrial coatings and quality assurance
- Comfortable working at heights and in industrial environments
- Competent with MS Office and project documentation systems
- Well organised with strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Clear communicator who works well with diverse stakeholders
- Committed to high safety, quality, and compliance standards
